Thank you, alas I should type it again from scratch, so never mind. For some reason I failed to keep in mind that the signups were closing at 5 minutes earlier than 0:00, instead of the actual 0:00. :(

You could just link to a letter and then write that later on (preferably before assignments go out though)?

Oh, it's unfortunate when those things happen. I hope you can still find a way to participate in the exchange (whether as a pinch-hitter, beta, treater, reader, commenter, etc.)

ETA: Or you could do what the above commenter said and write a letter later?

Thank you both anon commenter and mod. Aww, unfortunately I've seen your replies too late. :( I'll keep an eye for pinch hits and will request my tiny ships on regular future exchanges.

Hey, my sign up is all done, but I was on drugs yesterday in preparation for a surgery today and apparently i never hit submit. is it too late to slip that in there?

Sorry, but we're already quite a long way along with sorting out matching and assignments and adding another sign up would basically send us back to the beginning. We can already tell at this stage that there will be a number of initial pinch hits, though, so keep an eye out for those.
