• which fandom(s) you can help with
• the type of beta you can offer
• anything you can't beta
• how people can best contact you to ask for your help

You do not need to be signed up to be a beta!

If you're a creator needing help finding a beta, and there isn't anyone in the comments here offering what you need, please contact the mods (either via the Page-a-mod post, or by emailing us at fgemods@gmail.com). Posting directly in the comments here asking for help may make it too obvious what your assignment is.

For basic beta-ing I should be able to help with most fandoms (since this is for rare fandoms I'm unlikely to know them).

I can offer SPAG and general 'does this make sense/is that character in two places at once' beta-ing. If the fandom has specific language/attributes (they are allowed to be in two places at once etc) then please forewarn me.

I'm a Brit, so will also Brit-pick if you have a regular beta for evrything else.

Not a fan of extreme violence, torture, or graphic porn.

Please note I am on holiday just prior to due date, so won't be able to deal with last minute requests.

In any fandom, I can beta for general things (SPAG, making sense). For fandom-specific things such as characterization, plot-compliance, etc., I can beta Star Wars (the movies + The Clone Wars + some books) as well as a number of smaller fandoms (hit me up if you want to know specifics).

I can do anything from quick readthroughs + general impressions to line-by-line-comments, but I'd like at least a week's notice for the latter.

I'd rather not beta anything with explicit porn or incest.
