Please ensure that your posted work meets the minimum requirements (see below) and is fully posted to AO3, not solely saved as a draft. Thank you!

• Art requirements: You must submit complete art—sketches are not permitted. Art must be a minimum of lineart with basic colors/tones as well as background OR two lineart drawings. Lineart may not stand alone as a gift without colors/tones/background. Art may be traditional or digital, but cannot be drawn on lined paper. Manips and other graphics are not permitted.
• Fic requirements: You must submit complete fic. Fic must be a minimum of 2,000 words and must stand on its own.

We've made it to the other side of the deadline! Our next post will be an updated pinch hits list. If you turned in your assignment, don't appear on the pinch hits list, and yet don't have a gift, your creator likely has an extension.

Still, if you'd like to double-check with us once the pinch hits list is out, feel free to reach out through email or the page-the-mod post (note that we can't respond to anonymous comments on the latter).

A quick reminder to all participants that minimums for this exchange are A) 2,000 words for fic, and B) lineart with basic colors/tones and background, or two lineart drawings not on lined paper, for art. The gift must be in a requested fandom and medium and should contain one of the relationships or characters requested. While you can edit your assignment up until reveals on October 8th, we will be checking at deadline that your assignment meets these requirements.

We have one post-deadline pinch-hit remaining. This pinch hit is now due October 1st at 11:55pm UTC. If you can take it, please comment on the pinch hit post with your AO3 name. We can be flexible with the due date, so if you are interested in the pinch hit but would like a bit more time, get in touch!

Works waiting in the moderation queue

We are checking the moderation queue regularly as works come in. If you have been waiting more than ~24 hours to have your work approved, please check the following:

• Is your work still in draft mode? Please remember to post your drafts! We're able to see that a draft exists but not its contents, so click "Post Draft" or "Post Without Preview" to submit it.
  
• Does your work meet the minimum requirements? If your work is an assignment, rather than a treat, we will not approve it unless it meets the minimums for the exchange: 2,000 words for fic and for art, lineart with basic colors/tones and background or two lineart drawings, not on lined paper, in a requested fandom and medium and containing one of the relationships or characters requested.

Works waiting in the moderation queue

We are now checking the moderation queue regularly as works come in. If you have been waiting more than ~24 hours to have your work approved, please check the following:

• Is your work still in draft mode? If, when you view the draft, it shows as "by anonymous [yourusername]" you have not been affected by the "reveals bug" (where works fail to pick up the correct collection settings and so are revealed immediately) and can go ahead to post the work in full by editing it and choosing "Post without Preview". If the draft comes up as simply "by [yourusername]" then you will need to discard your current draft and start the posting process again from scratch to avoid the bug.
  
• Does your work meet the minimum requirements? If your work is an assignment, rather than a treat, we will not approve it unless it meets the minimums for the exchange: 2,000 words for fic and for art, lineart with basic colors/tones and background or two lineart drawings, not on lined paper, in a requested fandom and medium and containing one of the relationships or characters requested.

Finding your works on AO3

There is currently a bug affecting the "Works in Collections" view on AO3; it will only sort by "Best Match" (even if you try to choose other options), which does not make it easy to find your recently posted works in still-unrevealed collections.

This can be worked around by pasting the following directly into your browser's navigation bar, with your own username in place of [yourusername]: https://archiveofourown.org/users/[yourusername]/collection_items

If your work is awaiting approval, it will appear on this screen. If it has already been approved, you will need to click on "Approved" in the top right (or append "?approved=true" to the URL above).

If your work is still in Draft mode, you can find it through the "Drafts" section on your AO3 dashboard as usual.

This is just a reminder that the default deadline is in two days! If you default after the deadline, you must complete a gift by the next round for one participant in order to participate again. The precise deadline is September 21st at 11:55 PM UTC. (Countdown | What time is that for me?)
