Hello everyone, thank you for all your amazing nominations so far! This is a reminder that nominations are closing August 4th, 4PM UTC (Countdown | What time is that for me?).

After nominations close, we'll put up another clarifications and questions post, so please make sure to check that out in case we have a query about one of your nominations. Once sign-ups have opened on August 6th, we'll have a promo post up where you can promote your rare fandoms, ships, and characters!

Take a moment to check if we've asked about one of your nominations below. For those that have more than 10 works/5 creators, we are requesting that you provide evidence for why they should still qualify.

Also, a general reminder that, in order to make the approvals process faster, we request that you default to canonical tags when possible/if they exist. Please refrain from adding disambiguations unless it's a more complex canon where the same characters appear across multiple fandoms. Thank you!

Please keep an eye out for a possible further queries post, and also check the existing ones (1 & 2) - we are still awaiting responses in relation to some tags. If we don't hear back from nominators soon, we will proceed according to our best judgment in each situation in order to be able to open sign ups on time.

• Ray Gillette/Algernop Krieger - After filters and discounting fics where the ship does not seem to be the focus, this tag appears to have 6 authors, which is close enough that we are double-checking to see if we have missed anything.

Au service de la France | A Very Secret Service (TV)

• Jean-René Calot/les gemelles - Does "les gemelles" refer to the characters IMDB calls "Ana" and "Maria" in the episode "C'est Beau la Pologne"?

闪耀暖暖 | Shining Nikki (Video Game)

• Jax|Yuka (Shining Nikki), Mercury/Jax|Yuka (Shining Nikki) - Since Jax and Yuka appear to be different characters, we're confused about the use of piping. Was this meant to be Jax/Yuka and Mercury/Jax/Yuka, or something else?

In addition, disambiguating is not required, but it can be particularly helpful for us if there are interconnected or umbrella canons.

Crossing Jordan

• Jordan Cavanaugh/Woody Hoyt - This ship has 11 fics and 8 authors after filters, but since it's so close, we wanted to double-check if we missed something before rejecting it.

Teen Wolf

• Chris Argent/Melissa McCall - This ship has 100+ fics when filtered for English and complete. They do not appear to be the primary ship in most of them, but we’d like help making sure. Could the nominator point out the 10 or fewer fics (or 5 or fewer authors who’ve written fics) that do focus on the relationship?

Winter's Orbit

• Jainan nav Adessari/Kiem Tegnar - This tag is an odd case to judge, in that The Course of Honor (the title when it was on AO3) is synned to Original Works rather than Winter's Orbit. The ship has 20 fics when we include fics written for it when it was on AO3 as The Course of Honour. Is Winter's Orbit's depiction of these characters distinct enough to be counted separately?

The World of Black Hammer (Comics)

• Skulldigger & Matthew - We're having trouble verifying the existence of the character "Matthew" in this canon in online sources.  Please verify that this is the correct name.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)- All Media Types

• Arla Fett/Bo-Katan Kryze, Arla Fett/Satine Kryze - Arla Fett does not seem to appear in The Clone Wars. Would the nominator(s) like to change the canon to Star Wars - All Media Types?
• Satine Kryze/Tarre Vizsla - Tarre Vizsla does not seem to appear in The Clone Wars. Would the nominator like to change the canon to Star Wars - All Media Types?

Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003) - All Media Types

• CC-2224 | Cody/Obi-Wan Kenobi/CT-7567 | Rex, CT-7567 | Rex/Anakin Skywalker - Rex does not seem to appear in Clone Wars (2003). Would the nominator(s) like to change the canon?
• Mace Windu/CC-3636 | Wolffe, Plo Koon/CC-3636 | Wolffe - Wolffe does not seem to appear in Clone Wars (2003). Would the nominator(s) like to change the canon?
